You can book directly through our website or via selected premium booking platforms. A deposit is required to confirm your reservation; details will be shared during booking.
Our The Red Gate à la carte gourmet breakfast features regional Wachau products, artisanal breads, fine teas, fresh juices, and seasonal specialties. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-friendly options are available upon request.
The heated outdoor pool and sauna are included for all overnight guests. Massages and private wellness treatments can be arranged upon request.
We host private celebrations, workshops, business meetings, wine tastings, and cultural salons for up to 25 guests. Salon rental rates: Half day €350 / Full day €650. Exclusive use of the entire property is available at €2,680 per day.
All suite rates include our à la carte gourmet breakfast, two Suites have high-end in-room kitchenette, luxury amenities, pool & sauna access, and personalized service. Exclusive multi-suite arrangements and private house rentals are available for families or groups. The Red Gate is primarily a retreat for adults and couples.

While we adore animals, The Red Gate is a pet-free retreat. This helps us preserve the calm, quiet atmosphere that our guests value so deeply.
To maintain the peaceful and restorative spirit of our house, we welcome guests aged 16 and above. However, children are warmly welcome when booking all five suites as a private, full-house stay — transforming The Red Gate into your own personal boutique hotel, ideal for family gatherings or special celebrations in complete privacy.
Yes, we offer private on-site parking exclusively for our guests. For those with electric vehicles, we also provide charging facilities.
For your convenience, private parking is available directly on the estate. And for those arriving quietly on four electric wheels - we offer the possibility to charge your car on site, ensuring your journey continues as effortlessly as your stay.

Yes, reaching us without a car is very possible. From Vienna, a direct train brings you to Melk, where you can take a taxi or regional bus — both bring you to Spitz in about 20–30 minutes. There are also convenient train connections to Melk and Krems from Linz and Salzburg. We’ll gladly assist you in planning your route or arranging transport from the station.
